Cardamom bread is a special type of bread flavored with cardamom. Commonly baked as a loaf or in a Bundt cake span. Over this sweet aromatic cake chopped walnuts and vanilla icing are sprinkled. Cardamom bread is commonly eaten in Finland and sweden. Cardamom bread is considerd a traditional food among swedish Americans. These buns are eaten along with coffee or tea.
Cardamom is used in several Nordic countries in cakes, cookies, and buiscuits including traditional christmas pastries in the cuisine of sweden.
